The volcanic activity is characterized by strombolian explosions and degassing activity (puffing) located at the SW and NE crater sectors. In the last 24 hrs, explosive activity shows MEDIUM acoustic pressure (max 0.3 bar) and MEDIUM degassing activity (puffing 30 mbar). The number of VLP events is HIGH (15.5 events/hour). Thermal activity was characterized by a HIGH number of thermal transients with LOW amplitudes and LOW exit velocities. The volcanic tremor is MEDIUM. MODIS/VIIRS images show LOW thermal anomalies. SO2 flux is MEDIUM (84 t/d). No new measurements for CO2 flux were available. Rockfall activity is absent, no event detected in the last 24 hrs. The volcanic activity index is MEDIUM.
