The volcanic activity is characterized by strombolian explosions coupled by spattering and degassing activity (puffing) located at the SW and NE crater sectors. In the last 24 hrs, explosive activity, mainly centered at NE sector, shows an increase in the acoustic pressure towards HIGH to VERY HIGH values(>2 bar, up to 2.9 bar) and HIGH degassing activity (50 mbar), localized at NE sector. The number of VLP events is HIGH (14.7 events/hour). Thermal activity was characterized by a HIGH number of thermal transients with LOW amplitudes and HIGH exit velocities.
