The volcanic activity is generally characterized by strombolian explosions, with ash emissions, located at the NE and C crater sectors, with puffing localized at the NE crater sector. In the last 24h, the Stromboli volcano showed a HIGH degassing activity (puffing with values of about 110 mbar). The explosive activity is MEDIUM (max acoustic pressure 0.93 bar). The number of explosions (thermal transients) are HIGH, with a LOW thermal amplitude and MEDIUM exit velocity of pyroclasts. The volcanic tremor shows HIGH values with an increasing trend. The number of VLP events showed HIGH values (18.5 events/hour). MODIS/VIIRS images showed NO thermal anomalies.
