The volcanic activity is generally characterized by strombolian explosions and puffing located at NE and SW crater sectors. In the last 24h, the Stromboli volcano showed a MEDIUM degassing activity (puffing with values of about 40 mbar). The pressure of the explosions is MEDIUM (max acoustic pressure 1.3 bar). The number of thermal transients is HIGH, with LOW thermal amplitudes and LOW pyroclast exit velocities. The volcanic tremor shows MEDIUM values, with temporary increases up to HIGH values. The number of VLP events showed HIGH values (15.1 events/hour). MODIS/VIIRS images showed no thermal anomalies. The rockfall activity is LOW (8 events with LOW pseudo-volumes associated).The volcanic activity index is HIGH. N.B.
