The volcanic activity is generally characterized by feeble degassing activity and few explosions with low pressure located at the new NE crater sector. In the last 24h, the Stromboli volcano showed a MEDIUM degassing activity (about 30 mbar). The explosive activity is LOW (few explosion with max acoustic pressure 0.06 bar). No thermal transients (number of explosions) recorded. The volcanic tremor shows MEDIUM values. The number of VLP events showed MEDIUM values (6.1 events/hour). MODIS/VIIRS images showed NO thermal anomalies. SO2 flux shows MEDIUM values (last: 130 t/d recorded on the 26/07/2024), CO2 flux shows MEDIUM values (last: 980 t/d based on C/S value of 5.74 recorded on the 25/07/2024). The rockfall activity is VERY HIGH (61 events detected with LOW pseudo-volumes associated). The volcanic activity index is VERY HIGH.
