The volcanic activity is generally characterized by strombolian explosions, rich in scoria with ash emissions, and degassing (puffing and spattering) both located at the NE crater sector. Spattering stopped at 00:48 UTC and, at the same time, seismic tremor decrease from HIGH values to MEDIUM values In the last 24h, the Stromboli volcano showed a HIGH degassing activity (puffing with values of about 93 mbar). The explosive activity is MEDIUM (max acoustic pressure 0.63 bar). The number of explosions (thermal transients) are HIGH, with a HIGH thermal amplitude and HIGH exit velocity of pyroclasts. The volcanic tremor shows HIGH values which are correlated with the high degassing activity. The number of VLP events showed MEDIUM values (9.4 events/hour). MODIS/VIIRS satellite data is not available.
