The number of VLP seismic events (standard values 5-12) is high, 12.6 events/hour.

The amplitude of seismic tremor is high.

The infrasonic activity is high. The acoustic pressure of explosions is very high, 2.2 bar (standard values <1 bar). The amplitude of puffing is high, ~70 mbar.

Tiltmeters analysis Shows a ~0.07 µrad deflation during a lava overflow that occurred at 15:36 UTC on 2026/04/12.

Thermal activity of explosive events is not available. The number of thermal transients in the NE sector of the crater(standard = 100) is not available. The amplitude of thermal transients is not available. Exit velocity of pyroclasts, estimated through thermal camera analysis, is not available.

MODIS thermal anomalies are medium: 37 MW (00:54 UTC yesterday).

Rockfall activity is low. The number of rockfalls is 5 per day.

The volcanic activity is generally characterized by strombolian explosions located at the NE crater sector and degassing (puffing/spattering) located at NE and SW crater sectors. In the last 24h, the Stromboli volcano showed a HIGH degassing activity (puffing/spattering with values of about 70 mbar). The explosive activity is VERY HIGH (max acoustic pressure 2.2 bar). The volcanic tremor shows HIGH values. The number of VLP events shows HIGH values (12.6 events/hour). Tiltimeter analysis shows a ~0.07 µrad ground deflation during a lava overflow that occurred at 15:36 UTC on 2026/04/12. MODIS/VIIRS thermal data show MEDIUM thermal anomalies (Max 37 MW). SO2 flux shows LOW values (last: 40 t/d recorded on the 13/04/2026), CO2 flux shows no new data. The rockfall activity is LOW (n.5 event detected with pseudo-volumes from LOW to HIGH).
